DIY SPRINKLE LETTERS

Our Sprinkle Letter DIY was featured on Oh It's Perfect! in Ellia's third birthday party. It's simple and you can write literally anything. Can I get a Happy New Year in sprinkle letters please!?
What you need:
 -foam board
-Mod Podge
-Scissors
-X-acto knife
-Pencil
-Paint brush
-hot glue
1.Write your word out in pencil. You can find great fonts at DaFont and Creative Market, blow them up, print them and trace them, or do it freehand.
2. Cut out the letters with an X-acto knife.
3. Brush Mod Podge onto foam board.
4. Cover with sprinkles.

5. Leave it to dry overnight. We had some of the sprinkles fall off in a few spots and used hot glue to keep them on. You can also use hot glue instead of Mod Podge, It's much stronger!
We used Dap to attach it to the wall. (from the dollar store!)

Works great as a cake topper too!

White Christmas

We styled a little holiday table with some delicious Bauli Panettone and Pandoro to inspire all your upcoming holiday shenanigans! No matter what you're celebrating, sometimes (only sometimes) you don't need to go nuts with decor. Just some greens, soft colors, and different textures make a simple yet beautiful table.
Woudldn't this make a lovely gift? Maybe with a bottle of red to a dinner party, or when you visit grandma...! I'm a thinker, I know. The deer and trees are from Michaels.
xoxo,
Nat and Mercedes

Bestie Birthday

Katie is Nat's best friend, but she is basically the 4th sister. She's the one who was always there to help out, cutting out fondant polka dots and glittering menu letters at 3am. She's the one madly gluing banners together and being a stand in/second shooter for weddings. She's basically our hero.

Katie turning 30 is a big event, she's one of the last of the group to join the club. 30 is a big deal!

Nat made some special sugar cookies, so that everyone would also know of Katie turning 30. The colour scheme was purple, which is Katie's favorite, pink, black, white and of course gold! She even free handed a unicorn. The overall look was fun and whimsical, and who doesn't love unicorns?

Nat also decided to do a little styled bar cart to celebrate. The focal point was a decadent, 3 layer - cherry chip cake, brownie, chocolate chip cookie with ganache filling and drip cake, topped with spinkles and cherries. She made a giant foam board 30 and used elements that she had, such as pillar candles, long gold tinsel, disco ball, pink depression glass, gold cutlery and some cute trees to add a pop of colour. And of course there was some really great champagne. She made some simple and cute cake toppers by sticking iridescent bows from the dollarstore on skewers.

Katie had a little get together at her place for some close friends. Nat lent her some decorations and Katie made some delicious good like mini waffles and chicken, garlic bread, and bacon wrapped dates. We drank some yummy drinks and literally danced all night to a kick ass playlist compiled by her awesome BF.  You only turn 30 once!
